GiganTags....

from That's Crafty. These really are enormous tags and tie in very well with their new die cut greyboard shapes which are gorgeous.
I've used Gelatos on this one, just for a change, which give really vibrant colours:

A bit of 50's retro....

For the next Kit and Kaboodle class we're going to make a retro clock. I've gone for 50's sort of colours and was inspired by the designs of Angie Lewin:

I think I was supposed to be doing 70's retro but you know me, I'm easily sidetracked - anyway, I couldn't face all that orange and brown! You, however, will be able to work in whatever colours you choose.

So, if you fancy joining me, just follow the link above.

TV time again!

That's Crafty! are on Hochanda this Friday at 8.00am and 2.00pm. Don't forget to tune in as they've got some fantastic new products at fantastic prices.
They're taking the Rubber Dance stamps on the shows which work really well with their own and have also got some really lovely big die cuts, big tags (and I mean BIG), Tyvek  sheets, new paints and more.

Here are a few sneak peeks of some of those products in action:

You can see I've had a ball!

Bit of a tropical theme....

Here's a fabric tag that I made for the Craft Barn blog:

The parrot in the centre is done by image transfer using the Express Transfer Solution. I've then stamped around it and stitched it onto painted burlap (the sewing machine was playing up hence the even worse stitching than usual!):

Finish off with some upholstery braid and a stamped button:

Christmas in June....

Noooooo! Far too early, I know but I just wanted to show you this tile I made for the Flower Festival at church. I actually made four of them, based round hymns, but I think this was my favourite using all Crafty Individuals stamps:

The stamps all fit so perfectly and it's one of my favourite carols.

Rustiness in all its gorgeousness!

I'm hooked by all the rust techniques out there and the wonderful old metal effects you can create.
Here's a porthole that I made for That's Crafty using one of their ATC size shrines:

The shrines are free standing and quite deep as you can see here:

The jellyfish comes from one of the new sea themed stamp sets:

I had a little turtle....

and he's happily swimming away on my card over on the That's Crafty blog today:

This is an Alice Palace stamp from Crafty Individuals, combined with one of their Crafty Elements sets.
So, swim on over and take a look!
