Sneak Peek....

The new Eclectica Darcy stamps are out and I was lucky enough to be asked to make something with them.
Here are a couple of close ups of what I made:

Hop on over to the PaperArtsy blog to see the finished projects and I'll do some step by steps in a later post.

In Fashion...

I've made a little something for the Crafty Individuals Blog Challenge "Autumn Fashion".
This uses a piece of oval stampbord that I found lurking in a drawer and one of the latest stamp sets CI-401 'Ladies who Latte':

and close up:

The amount of detail you can etch in is amazing.
You've still got time to enter before the end of August.

Craft Barn Classes

I've got 3 classes coming up at The Craft Barn, three weekends in a row!
The first is the stamping on Bisque and we're going to make a 6x6 teapot stand (or you can turn it into a piece of wall art) and 4 coasters. Here are the coasters:

The following weekend we're going to try out the new Pebeo fabric paints and decorate some bottle bags. I went for one Christmassy one and one flowery one. Here's the Christmas one:

And then lastly we're going to decorate a couple of bottles, perhaps to go in the bag! These are very addictive.  Here's a pic of one of the bottles:

This class is on Saturday 13 September 2014.

Bag Charm...

It's my turn over on the PaperArtsy blog again and this time I made something small and quick using one of my favourite products - Stampbord!

Hop on over and take a look.

That white picket fence...

This piece of work also features a new Crafty Individuals stamp, CI-415, and some of the Faber Castell Papercrafter crayons that I've just got from The Craft Barn. These are wax crayons that twist up and down and can also be sharpened. I used them on the flowers and picket fence and then slapped on  Distress Stains - a really easy way to colour this image in and keep the white of the fence:

I've added extra details from several other stamp sets - easy to do as they all work so well together.

Get pedaling ...

This is card no. 2 with the bike stamp and uses the cut off piece of card from an A4 sheet:

Really quick to make: just a bit of a spritz with some Dylusions Sprays and a bit of white pen for highlighting.

On yer bike!

Crafty Individuals have just brought out this lovely bike stamp:
which of course I just had to try out as I've got a bike very like this (I've even got flowers on the back!)
The first card I've made uses Gelatos and the CI Leafy Branches mask, plus some text from one of Gio's new plates CI-418:

You get lots of texture when stencilling with the Gelatos.
